How Registration Works
Expression of Interest
Expression of Interest (EOI) submissions are now closed. The form is no longer accepting new submissions at this stage.
- Frontline rangers,
- Conservation professionals and practitioners,
- Ranger associations and federations,
- Conservation organisations supporting rangers,
- Researchers and academics working on ranger-related issues
To ensure the Congress remains true to its mission, participation will be allocated as follows:
- 80% — Rangers from Asia
- 10% — Rangers from other continents
- 10% — Ranger supporters and conservation organisations
Confirmation & Payment
Coming soon. Following the review of submitted Expressions of Interest, selected participants will be notified and invited to complete the formal registration process. Only people who already submitted an EOI will receive the confirmation and payment link.
Selected participants will receive a confirmation letter with instructions to complete their registration and payment. The registration fee of USD 450 per participant covers accommodation, all meals, transportation, and a welcome kit for the full duration of the Congress.
Please note: a bank transaction fee will apply on top of the registration fee and is the responsibility of the participant.

Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) Exemption
Confirmed registered participants will benefit from an exemption from Bhutan's Sustainable Development Fee (SDF), which the Organising Committee is arranging in collaboration with the Royal Government of Bhutan. This exemption is strictly for confirmed registered participants and applies exclusively for the duration of the Congress (2–4 December 2026).
If you wish to extend your stay in Bhutan beyond the official Congress dates, the SDF (USD 100 per day) will apply and participants will be responsible for making their own arrangements. The Organising Committee will not be able to provide any support for extended stays.

When will I hear if my EOI is successful?
Following the review of submitted Expressions of Interest, selected participants will be notified by the Organising Committee and invited to complete formal registration. Confirmation and payment links will be sent directly to selected people who already submitted an EOI.
Can my organisation submit on behalf of multiple rangers?
Expression of Interest submissions are now closed, so new nominations cannot be submitted at this stage. Submitted EOIs will be reviewed by the Organising Committee. For questions about an existing submission, email rangerfederationofasia@gmail.com.
What is the registration deadline?
EOI submissions are now closed. Formal registration and payment deadlines will be communicated directly to selected people who already submitted an EOI.
Can I get a refund if I cannot attend?
Cancellation and refund policies will be provided in the formal invitation after your EOI is reviewed.
Are there scholarships or subsidised places available?
Limited support may be available for rangers from low-income countries. Please contact rangerfederationofasia@gmail.com to enquire.
